By using randomdrawinggenerator.art ("the site") you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
1. What the site is
The site provides a free online tool that generates random drawing prompts, plus articles about drawing practice. It is provided for personal, educational and professional creative use, as-is, with no guarantee of availability.
2. Your artwork is yours
We claim no rights over anything you draw. Prompts are short factual idea statements, and ideas are not protected by copyright, so you may use any prompt generated here for:
- personal sketchbook practice,
- artwork you sell, print or license,
- commissions and client work,
- classroom, club and workshop activities,
- social media posts, streams and videos.
No credit is required. A link back is appreciated but never demanded.
3. What you may not do
- Scrape, bulk-download or republish the site's prompt database as your own prompt generator or dataset.
- Copy the site's articles, layout, code or graphics and publish them elsewhere without permission.
- Use automated scripts to hammer the site, or try to break, overload or reverse-engineer it.
- Remove, hide or interfere with advertising.
- Present the site as your own product or imply an official partnership that doesn't exist.
Using individual prompts in a video, class or blog post is fine. Copying the whole library isn't.
4. Site content and ownership
The site name, logo, written articles, design, code and the organised prompt library are owned by the site operator and protected by copyright where applicable. You may quote short excerpts of articles with a link and credit.
5. No guarantees
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any prompt will be suitable, original, or good. Prompts are generated by random combination, so occasionally you'll get something nonsensical. That's part of the fun, but it isn't a defect you can claim against.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including lost work, lost data, lost time or lost income. Your saved prompts live only in your browser; losing them by clearing browser data is not something we can recover or be held responsible for.
7. Advertising and third parties
The site is funded by advertising, currently Google AdSense. Ads are served by third parties and their content is not controlled or endorsed by us. Any dealings with an advertiser are strictly between you and them. See the privacy policy for how advertising cookies work.
8. Third-party links
Links to other sites are provided for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or policies.
9. Changes and availability
Features may be added, changed or removed at any time, and the site may go offline temporarily or permanently without notice. These terms may also be updated; the date at the top will change, and continuing to use the site means you accept the updated version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree that courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
